C9 Harrison Jumping Hour - Alligator - Limited Ed. -£1,150.00
We have taken a quantum leap in our quest to create the ultimate in affordable luxury watches with the launch of the C9 Harrison Jumping Hour. The watch- which has one hand and an hour 'window' was designed in collaboration with our partner- the German watchmaking 'wunderkind' Johannes Jahnke. Johannes has ingeniously created a completely original and unique adaption of the ETA 2824-2 calibre movement to achieve a consistent amount of power transition across the hour for greater accuracy. Furthermore- the quality of every component is quite superb including the luxurious Louisiana alligator strap that comes as standard. Only 200 C9 Jumping Hour timepieces will ever be produced and each one will be assembled personally by Johannes and will be received by the fortunate owner with a signed letter of authenticity from the watchmaker. Let there be no doubt this is a very special watch. |
C70 DBR1£375.00
Aston Martin is one of the great English marques that inspires us at Christopher Ward. The understated beauty of every Aston Martin is combined with a precision and power that is unique in the world of motor manufacture and is even the case when they turn their hand to motor sport. David Brown (the DB that pre-fixes their model names) bought Aston Martin in 1947 and was determined to build on the company's motor racing heritage- a vision that reached its ultimate fruition in 1959 when the magnificent DBR1/300 car took first and second places in the Le Mans 24 Hour Race and ultimately went on to win that years World Sportscar Championship. The C70 DBR1- in a world-wide limited edition series of only 500 pieces- is a very worthy addition to our acclaimed Grand Prix Series and is the perfect watch for anyone who admires this quintessentially English sports car marque. |
C20 Lido - Black Leather£365.00
Following the very successful Automatic Lido that was developed for the CW Forum last year (it was a limited edition of only 100 pieces) CW are introducing a new version for the main range. The case is modified from the C2 Lido but will house an ETA 2836-2 calibre automatic movement with both Day and Date functions. The dial has a newly developed central guilloche pattern further enhancing the already considerable presence of this distinguished looking watch. |
C90 Beckett's - Power Reserve£799.00
The news that Silverstone had extended its right to stage the British Formula 1 Grand Prix for a further 17 years prompted the petrol heads at Christopher Ward to lobby for a watch that celebrated this very welcome news. Little did we expect that Chris and the design team in Maidenhead would produce what many of us believe to be the finest design yet to emerge from those studios. The design has a subtle retro feel (more Stirling Moss than Lewis Hamilton) and features a superbly crafted multi-layered precision dial incorporating the 45 hour power reserve meter which is the outward expression of the complex Valgranges ETA A07.161 Automatic movement. The power reserve movement has been specially customised by ETA for the C90. Owning and wearing this magnificent timepiece may not quite match the excitement of taking one of Silverstones famous corners in a Formula 1 car- then again ... |
C5 Malvern Aviator Mk II - Black Leather£265.00
Christopher Ward is proud to announce the arrival of the C5 Malvern Aviator MK II the watch which is taking the place of the limited edition (1936 pieces) C5 MK I. The C5 Malvern Aviator MK II has a 38mm diameter case and was inspired by the very first Big Pilots watches known as the B-Uhren- or B-Uhr for short- which were originally developed for the Luftwaffes navigators in 1936 and for the RAF during World War II. The superb ETA 2824-2/Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement in the C5 Aviator Mark II is visible through an exhibition window- while upgraded luminosity gives exceptional night-time visibility. |
