Weather: Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like heavy snow, flooding or high winds, which would make it dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. Duration: Your experience will last for around four hours including a briefing, introduction to the JCBs, tuition, around 20 minutes driving time, debrief and presentation. Numbers On Day: There will be up to 28 people taking part. Spectators: This experience is great for spectators. Bring as many people as you like for the discounted Red Letter Days price of £10 each (payable on the day), which includes access to Diggerland Park. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 3's go free. Dress Code: Bring a change of clothes and shoes/boots that you don't mind getting muddy or dusty. If it's raining, bring wellies and overalls if you have them (trainers are no good in the wet, you'll be slipping all over the place). Guidelines: Exit M62 at junction 31 and take the A655 towards Castleford. Diggerland is located half a mile along the A655, immediately before the petrol station. The closest railway station is Castleford. Restrictions: Minimum age is 17. You must hold a full driving licence (and bring it with you), but you don't need any other special licences or experience. Tall Ship Sailing Day in Poole£145.00
Availability: Sunday 17th, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June 2012. Weather: Unless conditions are severe, the weather won't stop the ships from sailing. However if there are any changes, Jubilee Sailing Trust will contact you to advise. Duration: The boat is at sea for around seven hours. Numbers On Day: Depending on which ship you board, there will be between 40 and 55 people on board, looked after by a professional crew of eight. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. Dress Code: Dress warmly and wear flat-soled shoes, e.g. deck shoes or trainers. Wear a few layers, as even in summer it can get cold out at sea. It's a good idea to bring lip balm, sunblock and a waterproof jacket if you have them. Availability: Weekend dates around twice a year. Weather: High winds or heavy rain might prevent your jump going ahead. If in doubt, call the venue to check before you leave. Duration: After registering you'll be allocated a bungee time slot; you can reasonably expect to jump within an hour. Safety checks, briefing and harnessing take a few minutes. Your jump will last just a few heart-stopping seconds. Numbers On Day: Up to 100 others will also jump on the day. Spectators: Bring as many spectators as you like - get them to bring along a camera or video. Dress Code: Wear long trousers rather than a skirt (you'll be upside down!). Glasses and contact lenses must be removed prior to jumping. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 14. Under 16s need a parent/guardian's signature.
